Final Exam Testing Locations
Due to MVA program requirements, you are required to take your Maryland Driver Improvement Program final exam in-person at one of our designated testing locations or may opt to take the test “virtually” with our state certified instructor.
To complete the test “virtually” students must have:
A valid email address to receive needed forms
A state, or government issued ID
A suitable testing environment that MUST include:
The ability to hear and interact with the instructor
Reliable internet connection during test taking
A device that has video capability to allow the instructor to visually monitor the student’s activity
Student must be visible on camera during the whole testing process

MARYLAND ONLINE DRIVER IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM Terms & Conditions
COURSE ELIGIBILITY
Persons must be 18 years of age or older to complete the AAA Maryland Online Driver Improvement Program when completing the course for mandated MVA or court referral.
COURSE TUITION
A registration fee, which is specified during the registration process, will be charged to the STUDENT. This fee includes all required instructional materials and needs to be paid prior to course completion.
COURSE SCHEDULE
AAA, hereafter referred to as the COURSE PROVIDER, offers a course composed of 8 training units. Once the online course has been successfully completed and the in-person final exam passed, an MVA Client Completion Form will be provided to the student. The course will be available to the STUDENT 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This availability may be affected by circumstances such as, but not limited to: system, site or connectivity failure over which the COURSE PROVIDER has no control.
PROCTORED TESTING
Due to MVA program requirements, you are required to take your Maryland Driver Improvement Program Final Exam in person, at one of our designated Testing Locations. Please note your final exam will be administered electronically using YOUR smartphone, tablet or laptop. Therefore, you must bring a smartphone, tablet or laptop - that has cellular network connectivity or Wi‐Fi capabilities, with you to your AAA testing location. Wi‐Fi enabled devices can access the Internet using AAA's wireless network. You must bring the following with you to your AAA test location: 1) Your driver's license or a government issued photo ID, 2) MVA Assignment Letter 3) Smartphone, tablet or laptop on which to complete your exam. Failure to bring any of these items may result in you not being allowed to complete your final exam.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
The COURSE PROVIDER prescribes minimum hardware and software requirements for completing the course. Minimum browser requirements are the use of Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) 9.0 or greater, Firefox, Google Chrome, or any other browsers that provide equal or greater functionality. The browsers need to support Java and Javascript. The minimum hardware required is such that it should be able to support the software configuration listed above. The course requires the use of a pointing device such as a mouse. The course recommends that the hardware be equipped with speakers. All students will go through the software evaluation after registration, but prior to the start of the course.
COMPLETION AND CERTIFICATION POLICY
The STUDENT agrees to complete all phases of the approved curriculum in order to receive a MVA client completion form. Any time missed must be made up. The COURSE PROVIDER is prohibited from issuing a client completion form if the STUDENT has not met all the requirements for course completion and a STUDENT shall not accept a completion form under such circumstances.
STUDENT may be required to pay fees to COURSE PROVIDER if through no fault of COURSE PROVIDER, STUDENT requests a duplicate and/or reissue of the original certificate of completion.
GRADING AND PROGRESS POLICY
The STUDENT agrees that they may not be certified or given credit for the course unless they score 80% or higher on the final exam. Alternative testing techniques for students with reading, hearing or learning handicaps and policies for re-testing students who score less than 80% will be a) review of material; b) translation, if necessary or possible; and c) re-testing, verbally if necessary. A STUDENT that fails to score at least 80% on the final exam will be required to re-test on another day. STUDENT will be required to pay a re-testing fee to COURSE PROVIDER before another exam will be administered.
CIRCUMVENTION WARNING
The STUDENT agrees that HE/SHE, and not any other person, will study the material in its entirety and complete the chapter quizzes and the final exam. It is illegal to attempt to circumvent this online state-approved course or provide false information. If the COURSE PROVIDER discovers that the STUDENT has willfully misrepresented himself or has cheated, the STUDENT will be stopped from taking the course with no refund of the registration fees. In addition, the STUDENT may be prosecuted for perjury and other criminal acts which are punishable by law.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES
A full refund, minus a $10 processing fee, will be made to any student who cancels the enrollment contract within 15 days of registering for the course and prior to attempting the final examination. The COURSE PROVIDER will terminate, without notice, the enrollment of any student who has not successfully completed the course within 180 days. All registration fees paid are due and refundable when the course of instruction is discontinued by the COURSE PROVIDER, preventing a student from completing the course, or the enrollment of the student was procured as a result of any misrepresentation in advertising, promotional materials of the COURSE PROVIDER, or representation made by the owner or employee of the COURSE PROVIDER. All refunds will be issued within 30 days following receipt of a permissible request for cancellation.
PRIVACY STATEMENT
The COURSE PROVIDER is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. The COURSE PROVIDER collects information from its users at several different points on the website. The COURSE PROVIDER will not use or sell this information to promote products or services unrelated to this traffic safety course or in ways different from what is disclosed in the Privacy Statement.
REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES
STUDENT represents and warrants that the user information and registration information provided by STUDENT is true and correct, and acknowledges that the truth and accuracy of such information is a material inducement to COURSE PROVIDER in permitting STUDENT to enroll in the course. STUDENT further acknowledges and agrees that any willful or intentional misrepresentation by STUDENT regarding such user information or registration information constitutes a breach of this agreement and of the representations and warranties by STUDENT as provided in this agreement, and may subject student to liability for damages incurred by COURSE PROVIDER as a result thereof, including but not limited to general, consequential, and punitive damages.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
STUDENT acknowledges and agrees that the liability of COURSE PROVIDER and their agents and employees for any act, omission to act, or negligence on the part of COURSE PROVIDER and their agents and employees, is strictly limited to and shall not exceed the amount of the registration fee actually paid by STUDENT.

These agreements allow us to extend the value of your membership or provide you with special savings. Under certain circumstances, additional information will be provided to appropriate third parties with your consent or at your direction, such as when you apply for a loan, request a quote for insurance or, as necessary, to perform other services. Information will also be disclosed, if necessary, to effect, administer or enforce a transaction, benefit or service that you have requested or authorized or to which you are entitled. Information may be shared among the Club's corporate affiliates and subsidiaries, other AAA Clubs and the AAA National Office. Other third parties with whom information may be shared include, but are not limited to, emergency road service contractors, AAA Approved Auto Repair facilities, travel service providers, financial service providers, insurance support organizations, insurance agents, claims representatives, independent contractors courts and governmental agencies.

In compliance with federal regulations, we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards designed to guard and prevent misuse of your nonpublic personal information.
